We offer several options to meet everyone's dietary needs, including vegan, vegetarian and gluten-free. You can be sure that we will work with you to create a customised menu based on your preferences and the number of guests. If you need additional arttributes such as standing tables, cutlery or plates, we can help you with that too!

The story behind Hummus & Habibis
Hummus & Habibis began as a side hussle to support my mental health during a difficult period in my life. When the COVID-19 pandemic started in 2020, I fell into a deep state of depression and relived the traumas I had experienced in Syria and as a refugee on my way to Europe. I never imagined that this project would grow so fast and consume my life.
The menu started with just Hummus, but has since expanded to include more than 15 dishes. I am extremely grateful that my family was able to join me in this venture. From 2021, my family started preparing food at home in Nijmegen and delivering it around the city on bikes. In 2023, Hummus & Habibis became a catering company, serving food we did at weddings and for companies like Amazon, Uber and Gemeente Rotterdam.
We also provided more than 5,000 meals to refugees and organised eight workshops. We pledge to continue working with organisations that benefit society as a whole.

Is your menu completely vegan?
Our menu is not 100% vegan. Many Middle Eastern dishes are naturally vegetarian or vegan. Our menu is therefore partly vegetarian and partly vegan.
Do you have any meat or fish dishes?
Yes! On special request, we can add meat and fish dishes such as Kibbeh or Mansaf.
From how many people does your catering start?
We cater from 5 people upwards. So you can also enjoy our food with your family at home.
What is useful to know about your prices?
We make our prices and dishes especially for you. Based on your budget and wishes, we will create your perfect menu together.
Do you deliver over in the Netherlands?
Yes, we deliver over in the Netherlands.
Can I also hire waiters from you?
Yes, you can. We have a very experienced team ready to help us serve.
Do I have to pay a deposit?
No, that is not necessary.
